Needed to raise the magneto on the '59 XLCH so I could time it correct, problem was to get the mag in the right position for timing it was either fouling the air filter or if moved around one tooth on the mag shaft it hit the rear pushrod tube
So time to space it out thus raising it enough to sit in the right place
Bit of stock thrown in the lathe after measuring it up and working out how much I needed to raise it by
Spacer sits between magneto body and lock down plate
Added a seat so I could 'O' ring it
Bolts down nice now
And sits exactly where I want it, I'm happy and I reckon time refining a bike is time never wasted!!!!!
