Oil filter for the '59 XLCH

i fell out of love with the modern looking remote oil filter i'd fitted to the iron head.... 
So i knocked up a bracket and fitted a more traditional looking one

much better.........



Killing time....

I'm waiting on the xlch front wheel to come back from having various lovely things done..... So to stop boredom setting in I've been keeping my hands busy making some knives...

Bit more on the '59 XLCH

fork seals got made by my mate Baz......


its not easy getting the earlier KH shoes (right) so i'm gonna convert it to fit the early XL type (left)


clutch got sorted


plates got adjusted for a smooth move


etc....


original rear light got restored


and fitted


freshly painted rear and front fender


still waiting on the front wheel back from the wheel builders but i think i'm pleased with how its sitting

Super nice front end finished and awaiting the new rim and rebuilt wheel

couldn't stand the crappy chrome on the side of the speedo and oil pressure gauge any longer, so they got covered in leather and dyed black..........
